Lady Gaga's third album "Born This Way" was released on May 23rd, 2011. This album's title was based on the lead single of the record, "Born This Way", an anthem for self-esteem, acceptance and tolerance. The lead single also became an anthem for members of LGBTQ community with some of the lyrics in the song directly referencing them: "No matter gay, straight or bi/Lesbian, transgendered life/I'm on the right track, baby/I was born to survive."
